Diagnodent Cavity Detection Laser
Here at Avalon Laser Dentistry, Dr. Simpson uses the latest laser technology to detect cavities before the use of the dental drill is necessary. This allows the use of more conservative methods of decay removal such as air abrasion which uses abrasive particles propelled by air or the hydrokinetic laser which uses water molecules propelled by laser energy. Dr. Simpson uses both of these technologies which are commonly used without discomfort or the need for dental anesthetics.
